3 large round plates, monogrammed “M.D.” and “I.P.M.”, probably Netherlands or Germany, 19th century
Fayence mit polychromer Malerei; der breite Rand zweimal blau mit weißem floral-ornamentalem Dekor, einmal mit farbenfrohem Floraldekor; größere Schale mit Reitermotiv in der Mitte (D: ca. 42 cm), kleinere Schalen mittig mit geschwungenem Blumenbukett und Blättern (D: ca. 34,5 cm); altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren, zahlreiche kleine Bereibungen und Abplatzungen an den Rändern (etwas mehr bei der Schale mit dem polychromen Rand) und Standringen, leichtes Craquelé im Inneren der Blumenschale mit blauem Rand; monogrammiert „M.D.“ (die zwei Blumenschalen) und „I.P.M.“ (Reiterschale); Gesamtgewicht: ca. 3,5 kg.
Faience with polychrome painting; the wide rim twice in blue with white floral-ornamental decoration, once with colourful floral decoration; larger bowl with rider motif in the centre (D: approx. 42 cm), smaller bowls with central floral bouquets and leaves (D: approx. 34.5 cm); age-related signs of wear, numerous small abrasions and chips to the rims (more on the bowl with the polychrome rim) and foot rings, light crazing inside the floral bowl with blue rim; monogrammed “M.D.” (the two floral bowls) and “I.P.M.” (rider bowl); total weight: approx. 3.5 kg.
