Two silver boxes, 20th century

925/- und 900/- Silber; Gesamtgewicht: ca. 70 g; 1) Kleine Dose in ovaler Form mit umlaufendem reliefiertem Floral- und Weinlaubdekor auf der Wandung und Puttidekor auf dem Deckel; geschwungene Daumenruhe; innen vergoldet; unterseitig gestempelt mit mehreren ungedeuteten Punzen, britischem Jahresbuchstaben sowie Feingehaltsstempel „9125“; Maße: ca. 3,8 x 2,8 cm. 2) Flache Deckeldose in rechteckiger Form, auf den Schauseiten karierter Gravurdekor und seitlich zwei geschweifte Daumenruhen; innen Restvergoldung und Gravur „10.2.36 KARL“; mehrere kleine Kerben von ca. 1-3 mm Länge; auf der Innenfalz gestempelt mit Halbmond und Krone, ungedeuteter Meistermarke und Feingehaltsstempel; Maße: ca. 7,9 x 4,2 cm. Altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren und Oxidationsrückstände.

925/- and 900/- silver; total weight: approx. 70 g; 1) Small oval box with encircling relief floral and vine-leaf decoration to the body and putti decoration to the lid; scrolled thumb rest; interior gilt; underside stamped with several unidentified punches, a British date letter and fineness mark “9125”; dimensions: approx. 3.8 x 2.8 cm. 2) Flat rectangular lidded box with chequered engraved decoration to the front, and two scrolled thumb rests to the sides; interior with remnants of gilding and engraved inscription “10.2.36 KARL”; several small nicks of approx. 1-3 mm in length; inner flange stamped with crescent and crown, unidentified maker’s mark and fineness mark; dimensions: approx. 7.9 x 4.2 cm. Age-related signs of wear and oxidation residues.

Five original lithographs by Oskar Kokoschka for the narrative by Siegfried Lenz and a reflection by the author”, containing the signed lithographs in an edition of 26/100: “Blick über die Reling”, “Der alte Passagier”, “Das Paar”, “Die stürzende Frau” and “Frau in Wehen”. 2) “Einstein überquert die Elbe bei Hamburg. A story in three sentences by Siegfried Lenz with a Facsimile of the manuscript, accompanied by five original lithographs by Oskar Kokoschka and a reflection by the author on the artist”, signed by both artists; age-related signs of wear and superficial handling marks; dimensions of the bindings: approx. 35.5 x 45.5 cm; dimensions of the slipcase: approx. 38 x 48 cm; total weight: approx. 4.2 kg.
