Öl und Tinte auf Malkarton; abstrakte Landschaftsmalerei in Lokalfarben; Darstellung einer weiten, flachen Ackerlandschaft, rechtsseitig gesäumt von Bäumen, am Horizont eine Gebirgskette zu erahnen unter hellblauem Himmel; Zusammenspiel aus pastosem Farbauftrag und Grattage verleiht dem Gemälde Struktur und erzeugt das Gefühl von Bewegung; minimale Restaurationsspuren am oberen rechten Bildrand; unten rechts in Bleistift signiert und datiert auf 1960; verso einige ungedeutete Notizen; breiter dunkelbrauner Holzrahmen mit goldener Innenleiste; nicht geöffnet; altersbedingt guter Gebrauchszustand; Bildmaße: ca. 23,3 x 47 cm; Rahmenmaße: ca. 23,3 x 55,8 cm; Gewicht: ca. 850 g.

Oil and ink on artist’s board; abstract landscape painting in local colours; depiction of a wide, flat field landscape, bordered on the right by trees, with a mountain range faintly discernible on the horizon under a light blue sky; interplay of impasto application of paint and grattage gives the painting structure and creates a sense of movement; minor restoration traces at the upper right edge of the painting; signed and dated in pencil lower right 1960; verso with some indistinct notes; wide dark brown wooden frame with gilt inner border; not opened; good condition consistent with age; painting dimensions: approx. 23.3 x 47 cm; frame dimensions: approx. 23.3 x 55.8 cm; weight: approx. 850 g.
