White porcelain with polychrome decoration painting as well as gilded shading and contouring; amphora-shaped body on square plinth with 2 high-set gold handles on the sides and lid with gilt decoration; main motif on the front: a city view (Copenhagen?), flower bouquets under the handles and an unidentified motif “C4”, crowned and framed by branches; inscribed in gold on the lid rim “Fra samtlige Medarbeidere. 1896. 25. Januar. 1921. Dagbladet Børsens Redaktion”; height: 34.5 cm; good condition with light age-related signs of wear (soiling inside); blue factory mark crown and 3 waves each on the lid, inside the vase and on the base, additionally inside the vase monograms “A.W.” and “E.H.”; weight: approx. 1.5 kg.
