Antique chalice in repoussé technique, probably Netherlands, 18th/19th century
Silberlegierung; Gewicht: ca. 224 g; Kelch auf rundem, ansteigendem Fuß, kurzer Schaft mit Nodus und Kelchansatz in gedrückt kugeliger Form sowie konischem Aufsatz; umlaufend auf der Wandung reliefierter Ornamental- und Figurendekor; innen Restvergoldung; auf der Wandung gestempelt mit aufsteigendem Löwen im Schild und ungedeuteter Meistermarke; altersbedingt guter Gebrauchszustand und Oxidationsrückstände; Höhe: ca. 15,6 cm.
Silver alloy; weight: approx. 224 g; chalice on a round, rising foot, short stem with nodus and chalice base in compressed globular form with conical upper section; encircling relief ornament and figural decoration to the body; remains of interior gilding; body stamped with a rampant lion within a shield and an unidentified maker’s mark; good condition consistent with age and use, with oxidation residues; height: approx. 15.6 cm.
White porcelain with polychrome naturalistic rose blossom painting and gilt rims; lot consisting of: 1 large round plate (D: approx. 34.5 cm), 2 oval bowls (dimensions: approx. 26.2 × 21 and 27 × 21.3 cm); 1st quality and in very good, well-kept condition with few insignificant signs of use; each with underglaze blue sceptre mark, red orb and various painter’s and other marks in black and other colours as well as impressed marks; total weight: approx. 2.5 kg.
833/- silver; total weight: approx. 106 g; box of rounded rectangular form with an encircling border of Moorish-style ornament to the sides and a hinged lid depicting the interior of a diamond polishing workshop with figural staffage, engraved “N. V. Diamant-Maatschappy 1884. Eduard van Dam. 1924”; stamped with the Dutch silver guarantee mark (rampant lion with numeral 2) and maker’s mark to the base, date letter to the inner flange, and assay mark with the letter M to the lid; age-related signs of wear; dimensions: approx. 8.5 x 6.7 cm.
White porcelain with rich gilt bronze and burnished gold decoration and polychrome flower painting “bouquet” in the well; dished form, scalloped wide rim with rich floral relief decoration, two lateral handles; 1st quality and in good condition with age-related signs of wear as well as a flat underside rim chip and 2 minimal flat chips on the foot ring – inconspicuous in presentation; dimensions: approx. 35 × 20.5 cm; underglaze blue crossed swords mark of the knopfswords period (1924-1934), painter’s mark and impressed mark; weight: approx. 855 g.
925/- and 900/- silver; total weight: approx. 70 g; 1) Small oval box with encircling relief floral and vine-leaf decoration to the body and putti decoration to the lid; scrolled thumb rest; interior gilt; underside stamped with several unidentified punches, a British date letter and fineness mark “9125”; dimensions: approx. 3.8 x 2.8 cm. 2) Flat rectangular lidded box with chequered engraved decoration to the front, and two scrolled thumb rests to the sides; interior with remnants of gilding and engraved inscription “10.2.36 KARL”; several small nicks of approx. 1-3 mm in length; inner flange stamped with crescent and crown, unidentified maker’s mark and fineness mark; dimensions: approx. 7.9 x 4.2 cm. Age-related signs of wear and oxidation residues.
