Three-piece group comprising cream jug, sugar bowl and sugar tongs, incl. William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Sheffield, 1st half 20th cent.
Sterling- und 800/- Silber; Gesamtgewicht: ca. 242 g; 3-tlg. Konvolut bestehend aus: 1) Rahmgießer mit birnenförmigem Korpus, breitem Ausguss und hoch angesetztem Volutenhenkel auf schmalem Standring; Höhe: ca. 8,2 cm. 2) Rundes Zuckerschälchen mit leicht ausgestelltem Rand auf doppelt getrepptem Standring; Höhe: ca. 4,8 cm; Rahmgießer und Zuckerschälchen seitlich gestempelt mit Lion Passant, Stadtmarke, Jahresbuchstabe 1937 und Meistermarke sowie unterseitig mit Modellnummern versehen. 3) Kleine Zuckerzange mit leicht gebogenen Armen; innenseitig gestempelt mit Feingehaltsstempel und Herstellerpunzen der Bremer Manufaktur Wilkens; Länge: ca. 9,6 cm. Alle Teile mit altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren und Oxidationsrückständen.
Sterling and 800/- silver; total weight: approx. 242 g; three-piece group consisting of: 1) Cream jug with pear-shaped body, broad spout and high-set volute handle on a narrow foot ring; height: approx. 8.2 cm. 2) Round sugar bowl with slightly flared rim on a double-stepped foot ring; height: approx. 4.8 cm; cream jug and sugar bowl stamped to the side with lion passant, town mark, date letter 1937 and maker’s mark, underside additionally with model numbers. 3) Small sugar tongs with slightly curved arms; inside stamped with fineness mark and maker’s punches of the Bremen manufactory Wilkens; length: approx. 9.6 cm. All pieces with age-related signs of wear and oxidation residues.
Foil-backed gold (Schaumgold); total weight: approx. 18.9 g; simple bezel setting with stylised braided border, rotatable by 180 degrees; high-oval image aperture on both the front and reverse; on the front: portrait of a noble lady seated on a fauteuil, executed in fine pastel-coloured miniature painting; dimensions: approx. 53.8 x 49.1 mm; age-related damage and minor restorations with tin.
Stamped: 750/- white gold; total weight: approx. 24.6 g; 55 individually, linearly set carré-cut rubies, total approx. 80.49 ct (according to engraved inscription on the inside of the safety clasp); very fine colour variety in red with occasional red-violet nuances; few recognisable, localised, visible natural inclusions; both sides of the bracelet decorated with finely engraved wave-shaped decorative engraving; concealed box clasp with underside safety clasp; width of the bracelet: approx. 4.2 mm; total length: approx. 18.5 cm; one carré-cut ruby with a barely visible, localised polishing mark.
Unmarked, probably platinum; rectangular case with silver-grey dial, black Arabic numeral indices and blued hands; bezel edge, lugs and articulated link elements in linear and geometric forms; contoured with approx. 100 diamonds, total approx. 1.2 ct, in melee and old-cut; colour and clarity: middle range; secured by a safety chain; black modern textile strap with double clasp; dimensions of the watch head: length: approx. 8 cm; central width (without crown): approx. 13 mm; total length: approx. 15.5 cm; no guarantee for movement or functionality.
Pendant, stamped: 585/- white gold; total weight of the collier: approx. 31.1 g; amethyst set in a high-oval format, dimensions: approx. 35.5 x 23.4 mm; height: approx. 13 mm; intense violet colour variety; leaf-like pierced setting border and six prongs in stylised elongated floral form with linearly engraved contour lines; suspended from a crescent-shaped crown with geometric saw-cut decoration and fine milgrain edges; set with approx. 31 melee and old-cut diamonds, total approx. 0.4 ct; colour and clarity: middle to lower range; centrally a round, faceted-set amethyst, diameter: approx. 4.8 mm; silver curb-link collier chain with an antique small clasp, probably white gold with small diamonds; dimensions of the central element: length: approx. 6 cm; width: approx. 3.5 cm; total collier length: approx. 43.5 cm.
