Three different silver vanity cases, 20th century

Verschiedene Silberlegierungen; Gesamtgewicht: ca. 360 g; 3-teiliges Konvolut silberner aufklappbarer Schminketuis bzw. Taschenspiegel bestehend aus: 1) Großes Etui in runder Form mit verschiedenen rillierten geometrischen Formen, innen mit Metalleinsatz und nicht befestigtem rundem Spiegel, gestempelt auf ellipsenförmiger Daumenrast mit verschlagenem Feingehaltsstempel (vermutlich 900) und ungedeuteten Marken; Durchmesser: ca. 10,1 cm. 2) Taschenspiegel in quadratischer Form mit guillochiertem und floralem Gravurdekor auf der Schauseite und rilliertem Dekor auf der Unterseite, schmaler Daumendrücker; am inneren Deckelrand mit Feingehaltsstempel 835 versehen; Maße: ca. 7,4 x 7,4 cm. 3) Taschenspiegel in quadratischer Form mit guillochiertem und floralem Gravurdekor auf der Schauseite und rilliertem Dekor auf der Unterseite, breite Daumenrast; innen gestempelt mit Feingehaltsstempel 900 sowie ungedeuteten Marken; Maße: ca. 6,8 x 6,8 cm. Spiegel teilweise blind, alle Etuis mit altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren und Oxidationsrückständen.

Various silver alloys; total weight: approx. 360 g; three-piece group of silver hinged vanity cases and pocket mirrors comprising: 1) Large round case with various reeded geometric patterns, interior with metal insert and unsecured round mirror, stamped to the elliptical thumb rest with a struck fineness mark (probably 900) and unidentified marks; diameter: approx. 10.1 cm. 2) Square pocket mirror with guilloché and floral engraved decoration to the front and reeded decoration to the reverse, narrow thumb press; inner rim of the lid stamped with fineness mark 835; dimensions: approx. 7.4 x 7.4 cm. 3) Square pocket mirror with guilloché and floral engraved decoration to the front and reeded decoration to the reverse, broad thumb rest; interior stamped with fineness mark 900 and unidentified marks; dimensions: approx. 6.8 x 6.8 cm. Mirrors partly cloudy; all cases with age-related signs of wear and oxidation residues.

Five original lithographs by Oskar Kokoschka for the narrative by Siegfried Lenz and a reflection by the author”, containing the signed lithographs in an edition of 26/100: “Blick über die Reling”, “Der alte Passagier”, “Das Paar”, “Die stürzende Frau” and “Frau in Wehen”. 2) “Einstein überquert die Elbe bei Hamburg. A story in three sentences by Siegfried Lenz with a Facsimile of the manuscript, accompanied by five original lithographs by Oskar Kokoschka and a reflection by the author on the artist”, signed by both artists; age-related signs of wear and superficial handling marks; dimensions of the bindings: approx. 35.5 x 45.5 cm; dimensions of the slipcase: approx. 38 x 48 cm; total weight: approx. 4.2 kg.
