Deckelhumpen mit studentischer Heraldik, 1. Hälfte 19. Jahrhundert
Lidded tankard with student heraldry, 1st half of the 19th century
Glas mit Emaildekor und Zinnmontierung; Humpen mit mehrpassiger, konischer Wandung, mittig angesetztem C-Henkel und abklappbarem Deckel mit Daumenruh in Form eines stilisierten Adlers; Deckelmontierung aus Zinn mit Weißporzellaneinsatz, darauf abgebildet das Wappen einer historischen, Stuttgarter (heute vermutlich aufgelösten und nicht zugeordneten) Studentenverbindung bzw. Burschenschaft mit den umlaufenden Schriftzügen „Hütte sei’s Panier!“ und „Glück auf!“; auf der Innenseite beschriftet: „E. Wandel“, ligiertes Monogramm „FH“, „s/l E. Beines“ (selbes ligiertes Monogramm), „z. frndl. Erg. W.S. 1909/10 R. Frank Stuttgart“; am Rand eingeritzt „6/20 G“; facettierter Standring; altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren, Riss an der Deckelmontur; Höhe: ca. 18,2 cm; Gewicht: ca. 967 g.
Glass with enamel décor and pewter mount; tankard with lobed, conical body, centrally attached C-handle and hinged lid with thumb rest in the form of a stylised eagle; pewter lid mount with white porcelain insert depicting the coat of arms of a historical Stuttgart student fraternity (presumably dissolved and unassigned today) with the surrounding inscriptions “Hütte sei’s Panier!” and “Glück auf!”; inner side inscribed: “E. Wandel”, interlaced monogram “FH”, “s/l E. Beines” (same interlaced monogram), “z. frndl. Erg. W.S. 1909/10 R. Frank Stuttgart”; inscribed “6/20 G” on the rim; faceted foot ring; age-related signs of wear, crack to the lid mount; height: approx. 18.2 cm; weight: approx. 967 g.
Silver alloy; weight: ca. 122 g; serving spoon with large bowl and wavy curved handle, both ends stamped and chased in ornamental forms; handle filled; seam residues and fine age-related signs of wear; length: ca. 30 cm.
800/- silver; total weight: ca. 514 g; fish cutlery set with finely chased floral and rocaille décor in openwork on the handles; reverse of handles or blades stamped with crescent moon and crown, jeweller’s mark of Wilkens & Söhne, fineness mark and maker’s mark; age-related signs of wear; length of forks: ca. 16 cm; length of knives: ca. 17.6 cm.
925/- and 750/- silver; total weight: ca. 210 g; 1) silver cream jug with pear-shaped body with fine chasing, on triple-stepped circular foot, large ear-shaped side handle, tapered neck and wide spout, interior with remaining gilding; foot stamped with fineness mark; height: ca. 15.5 cm. 2) small vase with globular body and tapered shaft on circular foot with crown-shaped, flared rim, circumferential floral and ornamental embossed decoration; side of the wall stamped with lion passant, city mark, maker’s mark and date letter 1901; nicks of ca. 5 mm each on the body and foot; height: ca. 11.2 cm. Both pieces with age-related signs of wear.
925/- silver (filled); total weight: ca. 226 g; pair of silver vases with conical body, opening into a wide, wavy rim, on circular foot with circumferential cord border decoration and tapered shaft in compressed globular form; protected against tarnishing, vague residues visible; underside of foot with felt covering; base stamped with crescent moon and crown, fineness mark and maker’s mark; surface micro-scratches and age-related signs of wear, one dent of 3 mm on the shaft of one vase; height: each ca. 13.5 cm.
