Lidded tankard with student heraldry, 1st half of the 19th century
Glas mit Emaildekor und Zinnmontierung; Humpen mit mehrpassiger, konischer Wandung, mittig angesetztem C-Henkel und abklappbarem Deckel mit Daumenruh in Form eines stilisierten Adlers; Deckelmontierung aus Zinn mit Weißporzellaneinsatz, darauf abgebildet das Wappen einer historischen, Stuttgarter (heute vermutlich aufgelösten und nicht zugeordneten) Studentenverbindung bzw. Burschenschaft mit den umlaufenden Schriftzügen „Hütte sei’s Panier!“ und „Glück auf!“; auf der Innenseite beschriftet: „E. Wandel“, ligiertes Monogramm „FH“, „s/l E. Beines“ (selbes ligiertes Monogramm), „z. frndl. Erg. W.S. 1909/10 R. Frank Stuttgart“; am Rand eingeritzt „6/20 G“; facettierter Standring; altersbedingte Gebrauchsspuren, Riss an der Deckelmontur; Höhe: ca. 18,2 cm; Gewicht: ca. 967 g.
Glass with enamel décor and pewter mount; tankard with lobed, conical body, centrally attached C-handle and hinged lid with thumb rest in the form of a stylised eagle; pewter lid mount with white porcelain insert depicting the coat of arms of a historical Stuttgart student fraternity (presumably dissolved and unassigned today) with the surrounding inscriptions “Hütte sei’s Panier!” and “Glück auf!”; inner side inscribed: “E. Wandel”, interlaced monogram “FH”, “s/l E. Beines” (same interlaced monogram), “z. frndl. Erg. W.S. 1909/10 R. Frank Stuttgart”; inscribed “6/20 G” on the rim; faceted foot ring; age-related signs of wear, crack to the lid mount; height: approx. 18.2 cm; weight: approx. 967 g.
Plated; weight: approx. 344 g; teapot with quatrefoil, curved body, low-set cylindrical spout, ear-shaped handle made of ebonised wood and hinged lid with mushroom-shaped handle; stamped and numbered on the underside; age-related signs of wear; height: approx. 11.5 cm; weight: approx. 344 g.
800 silver and colourless cut glass; total weight: approx. 1104 g; jug with quatrefoil, pear-shaped body, vertically ornamentally cut, on a square base with angular handle, spout, hinged lid with rim featuring a finely chased vine motif and silver thumb rest; lid marked on the side with crescent moon and crown, maker’s mark, and fineness mark; enclosed foreign particle of 3 mm in the glass; age-related signs of wear, nick on the inside of the glass base, nick of approx. 1 cm on the handle; height: approx. 31 cm.
Sterling silver; weight: approx. 267 g; sugar caster in octagonal baluster form on an eight-faceted base, with a raised faceted neck and detachable cover, pierced with floral ornamentation, executed as a caster with a small knob; both parts stamped on the side with town mark, date letter, Lion Passant as well as maker’s mark; punctual nick on the outer base ring of approx. 1 mm; in the original case with some signs of use; total height of the sugar caster: approx. 21 cm.
800 silver; weight: approx. 666 g; coffee pot with high-set bulbous body, vertically gadrooned, on four claw feet with acanthus leaf décor, high-set spout, ear-shaped handle with ornamental décor and Bakelite applications as well as hinged lid with surrounding ornamental frieze and handle in the form of a fruit with finely chased foliage; several fine superficial scratches and age-related signs of wear; underside stamped with crescent moon and crown, fineness mark as well as maker’s mark and model number; height: approx. 23.5 cm.
